Easy visit for this scaredy-cat

Getting lazier?

This dentist wants to charge me double for dental cleaning because I am a smoker. His dental cleaning fee has been increasing over the years and was $125 on my last cleaning, but he wants to charge me $250 now.

I've been going to his dental clinic for years, and he normally hires some dental hygienists to clean my teeth. I noticed the number of staff members he has has been dwindling, just down to one on my last visit. Maybe that is an indication he is losing patients. I can't speak for his other patients, but if he's treating them as irrationally as he treated me, it would be understandable why he is losing patients.

No dental clinic has ever complained about the tobacco stains on my teeth because of my smoking, ever. I do have my teeth cleaned twice a year if I can, so it can't be that bad.

My conclusion is that this dentist is getting lazy now, and he clearly doesn't care about losing my business. So be it.

Dr Mody is the best!!

I have been a patient of Dr Mody since the early 2000s. He is timely, professional and friendly. He always answers my questions and concerns. He is incredibly relatable and timely. His staff are top notch. I cannot day enough about the great care he has provided for my family and I. I have never waited more than 3 minutes once I’ve arrived for my appointments too!

Awesome!

Dr. Mody is very professional and patient. I have a fear of the dentist and experience a lot anxiety when I have to go. He knows and understands this. He takes his time and goes at my pace. He will stop when he sees that I have tensed up to the point that I’m holding my breath and gives me a chance to relax. I hope to never have to find another dentist!

The most patient and professional dentist I have ever had, multiple proceedures done over years and absolutely no issues at all. Most common statement... “we’re done already?” 😀
