IF NEGATIVE NUMBERS WERE AN OPTION . . . I WOULD RATE MY ECPERIENCE -5
I received an email from Dental Quest inquiring if I would like to make an appointment with a local dentist. I chose to give it a try, since the dentist I have been going to is aweful and I should sue for malpractice. I completed the Dental Quest form and received an email shortly after that gave me the option of making an appointment online or via phone call; I chose to do so online. I received several confirmation texts throughout the following five days leading up to the day of my appointment. On the day of the appointment, I drove 25min to the Dental office I had chosen, only to find out that the office had no recollection of my "scheduled" appointment. In fact, the DMD didn't even see patients on Tuesdays . . . Ever. The receptionist just reflected the scheduling error back at me, as I tried to explain that the dentist should contact Dental Quest and let them know to remove the online appointment option, therefore eliminating any future miscommunication between would be patients and the Dental staff. However, the receptionist wasn't comprehending what I was saying or wasn't listening to me. I left the office annoyed and vowed to never go back. The following day, I received an email from Dental Quest that questioned why I MISSED my appointment the previous day. There was an option to call the Dental Quest office to explain my missed appointment and reschedule. I called. I was connected to a young man who had no idea what I was talking about. I tried my best to listen to what he was repeating, but the background noise, of several people loudly laughing and joking around, was too distracting. I hung up. So save yourself a lot of trouble and avoid the inconvenience of Dental Quest's service. KG
