Okay, well I'm 19, been living on my own two years now. I grew up poor as dirt, and with my grandmother, and she always told me it was too much money to go to the dentist, since we didn't have dental insurance. So when I broke the corner of my tooth at sixteen, I didn't get it fixed. Now three years later, it's about half gone just to erosion and further chipping around the edges since it was already weakened. Still cannot afford a dentist, it never hurt up til' now, then yesterday the tooth started hurting, hurts most way above the tooth, where gum meets upper lip. Then today, the lip outside of it started swelling. I do not know if it's because of the pain and me bothering the tooth more or something that the lip started swelling, since there's no visible abscess or wound or anything like that in the area. I'm sorry this was such a long post but could anyone help? If you need more details feel free to ask.
