Hi i got a dry socket in a lower wisdom tooth extraction site 8 days ago. This occurred 7 days after my wisdom teeth were pulled, right after i had my stitches removed. My question is.. Does another blood clot form in the bottom of the hole? Or does new tissue form over the bone right away? Can i pull out this new blood clot if it does exist? Also, can you get a dry socket in the same site twice? I ask because i smoke marijuana for medical purposes, but i have not been able to for 2 weeks now and its starting to affect me, both physically and mentally. I simply want to know if i can cause a new dry socket in the same spot or am i clear of that risk? Also to add, there is still a bit of packing in the bottom of the hole, which i have been unsuccessful in removing. Should i try to remove it or should i wait until it gets pushed out?
