I was told to wear my first and second aligner for one month before switching. Everything I've read says two weeks and then switch. I asked my dentist and even he thought a month was excessive. I only have twelve aligners to go through so it's not like my teeth are really bad. I've had them in for three days and there's hardly any pressure on the teeth. Has anyone heard of keeping them in for this long?

The most I've heard is 3 weeks per set. Maybe your ortho is just extra cautious.

I'm a little confused, is it 'both' for one month? (15 days each)... Or 'each' for one month...

Before you left the Otho's office, did you schedule an appointment to see him again in either one month?...or two months ?

Just curious: where is your ortho office? I'm going through the same think, but I am at the end of my treatment, and they make me wear every tray for 4-5 weeks. I'm confused too.
