Before & After: Cosmetic Treatment
Nicole visited her dental office with worn and discolored composite resin fillings between her front teeth. She disliked the overall appearance of her smile, the slight crowding in the front, and preferred a whiter, brighter look. Could the desired dental treatment be accomplished at a modest cost?
In order to be as conservative as possible without compromising an ideal cosmetic result, we opted to whiten her natural teeth, recontour the others, and place porcelain veneers for a brighter and more balanced smile. First, a custom tray was fabricated for home bleaching to whiten her natural teeth. Then we prepared two laboratory-processed porcelain veneers for the two front teeth, secured by the Optibond® adhesion system. Lastly, we reshaped the other front teeth to achieve a dazzling smile.
